As Thursday’s work shift was coming to an end, a trip down to Skåne awaited for a midsummer celebration. We lifted the overly worn roof box in place, packed it with all things needed for a few days away from Karlstad and filled the car with a cool box with some sandwiches, my camera bag, children and us adults.
The trip included music, audio books and a quick stop to eat a packed lunch, stretch our legs and a well needed toilet visit.
Sitting six people in a car, four of whom are children between 4-7 years old, can involve a lot of discussions and so it was despite that, we arrived at Lunnahöja, Skåne just before ten after 6.5 hours of driving. Perfect timing to watch the sun set for the night.
I like Skåne, it’s low landscape bordered by leafy forests and meadows filled with both animals and agriculture.
